RIST WORLD Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the RIST WORLD alpha operated under ReLiCGameMaster handles information when you use the site.

Information used

RIST WORLD may process account identifiers and display information needed for authentication, application session data, maps, characters, cards, assets, settings, and other material you choose to create or upload. Hosting, authentication, storage, security, and network providers may also receive technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, browser/device information, request logs, and error data as needed to provide and protect the service.

Discord authentication

Where Discord OAuth2 is used, the application is intended to request only the permissions needed for login and identity. RIST WORLD does not claim affiliation with or endorsement by Discord.

Private storage and local data

The alpha may use browser storage and private cloud storage for maps, cards, characters, assets, session state, and related game data. Do not upload material you are not authorized to store or share.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide game and worldbuilding features, save requested content, maintain security, troubleshoot the service, prevent abuse, comply with law, and respond to user requests. Personal information is not sold by ReLiCGameMaster for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security, meet legal obligations, or preserve data you asked the service to store. Account/session controls may provide deletion functions. You may also request access, correction, or deletion by contacting relic.gamemaster@gmail.com. Some limited information may remain in backups, security records, or records required by law.

Children

The current public alpha is not intended for children under 13. A child under 13 should not create an account or submit personal information unless and until a verified parental-consent process is available. Additional age and parental controls may be introduced as the service develops.

Third-party services

RIST WORLD may depend on third-party services such as GitHub Pages, Discord, and cloud infrastructure. Those providers operate under their own privacy terms when they process information on their systems.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used or planned to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about processing. Contact the address below to make a request. Identity verification may be required before a request is completed.
